POLYURETHANE WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE
PRIMERO POLYDECK is a single-component, water-based, modified hybrid polyurethane-acrylic waterproofing membrane, formulated for superior flexibility, durability, and UV resistance. It forms a seamless, highly elastic coating capable of accommodating substrate movements and sealing cracks or joints on both new and existing concrete surfaces. Ideal for exposed concrete slabs, roofs, roof decks, gutters, firewalls, this product provides long-lasting protection against water ingress and harsh weather conditions.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, oil, grease, and loose materials. Remove any fungus, efflorescence, and loose particles or cement droppings. The surface must be structurally sound with no evidence of segregation. Honeycombs, cracks or surface defects must be removed and repaired with new plaster or wall putty. For previously painted surfaces, remove all loose or flaking paint. Cracks larger than 3mm should be filled with fast-curing cement or wall putty and allowed to dry.
PRE-STRIPPING (FOR CRACKS & JOINTS)
Clean cracks, joints, and corners thoroughly. Remove old or delaminated waterproofing layers. Apply PRIMERO POLYDECK using a brush over cracks and joints (3″–4″ width). Allow to dry before proceeding with full application.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Apply the first coat of PRIMERO POLYDECK horizontally. If the mixture is too thick, dilute with up to 10% clean water. Allow to dry for 2–3 hours before recoating. Apply the next coat vertically to ensure cross-coverage. For additional protection, a third coat may be applied horizontally.
For High-Movement Areas such as Roof Decks with AHUs or other machinery: Apply a coat of PRIMERO POLYDECK vertically, and apply the fiberglass mesh, or fiber cloth while paint is still wet. Press the mesh or cloth firmly using a brush to eliminate air bubbles and creases. Allow to dry for 2–3 hours, then apply the second coat horizontally. You may apply a third coat vertically for better coverage and protection. Work in sections of 1–2 sq. meters at a time to prevent premature drying while applying the mesh or cloth to increase tensile strength .
Drying and Curing: Allow 24 hours before light foot traffic. Full cure achieved within 48 hours.

is a professional grade, single component acrylic styrene polymer that is foot trafficable. It is used to seal and waterproof interior and exterior concrete, metal urfaces, fiber cement boards and other building materials.

APPLICATION:
Apply 1 coat of Primero Pro-Deck horizontally. If paint is too thick, you may add up to 25% water to make paint into primer. Let it dry for 2 to 3 hours before recoating. Apply 1 coat vertically. Let it dry then apply second coat horizontally.
For areas with substantial movement such as roof decks with (AHU) or other machinery, apply with waterproofing fiber cloth. Apply 1 coat of Primero Pro Deck vertically. While still wet, lay fiber cloth into the paint. Use the brush to push fiber cloth firmly onto the paint, squeezing out air bubbles to eliminate creases. Let it dry for 2 to 3 hours then reapply second coat horizontally. You may apply a third coat vertically for better coverage and protection. It is recommended to apply 1 to 2 square meters at a time so that paint will not dry while applying fiber cloth. This will increase tensile strength. Allow 12 to 24 hours for foot traffic and 3 days for full cure.
For old walls, remove any loose or flaking paint. Sand surface to rid of efflorescence and apply wall putty or new cement plaster for areas with deep cracks. Let it dry and apply Primero Pro-Deck with the same instructions above.
