Make sure that surfaces are clean, dry and smooth. Sand rough portions as it will absorb excessive stain and appearance will be uneven. Sand surface along the grain to achieve better results.
Stir product well before using. Use a medium-sized new brush. Test stain on a sample panel to check desired color. If a lighter tone is desired, thin with premium grade lacquer thinner. Make long, smooth light strokes, and try not to overlap the strokes. Once desired color is achieved, let dry for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Apply lacquer sanding sealer by spray or brush. Sand with grit 360 or 400. Apply desired topcoat ( Clear Gloss Lacquer for gloss finish or Dead Flat Lacquer for a flat finish).
COVERAGE:
10 – 12 sq. m. per liter, or 40 – 50 sq. m. per 4 liters depending on type of wood and desired shade. Darker colors and light colored woods will consume more product
